So this is one image that sticks with me from a recent trip to Anand Lok - a village with an Ashram come Hotel about 24 km beyond Rishikesh. We arrived in the middle of nowhere on the road to Dehradun. The taxi stopped and the driver said, "Just leave your bags there and walk down to the river, they will be brought on, but you need to take the boat across. This was the boat that ferried us across the Gunga to Anand Lok. And yes our bags did follow.

Did I say West Africa? Well that was a year ago - well more than.  I have now moved with work and for the last month I have been settling in to a new posting in New Delhi. the troops of course are yet to join me - I am told that they are now at sea.  Hopefully they may arrive before the end of the month.  In the meantime I shall have to sort some of the old pictures of games past and indeed some of the elhi and Agra that I have accumulated since we arrived.
